about us

SAY NO TO THE HUNGER VIRUS is a charity based initiative dedicated to providing nutritious meals to the most vulnerable people especially children who are unable to at least get one meal each day.

WHY DOING THIS?

We are working tirelessly to solving childhood hunger problems and malnutrition not just for today or tomorrow, but for good. We don’t buy food for hungry children but instead, we grow our own food together with the hungry children in our community-based gardens.

In our modern world, there are shockingly millions of children who spend their days hungry and still go to bed hungry despite of all the excessive food wastage we see around towns and urban regions!

To some children, hunger is an occasional challenge but for many more, hunger is a daily experience! Never the less, we lose thousands of such innocent children just because of the ‘’hunger virus’’. These children wake up each day without knowing where their daily meals will come from!

Millions of children are continuously living on streets and food insecure house-holds and of which, very few mind about this!

“Food insecurity” simply means, a child doesn’t know where their next meal is coming from.

There is a particular need of saving our future by providing hungry children with food assistance whenever we’re able to help them since children are our future.

At say no to the hunger virus, we believe that we all have a moral obligation to not only help these hungry children with food assistance but to as well get their lives off street, house and educate them as they also wish to live a bettered life once just like other children.
